The Pezim Clinic Colonoscopy Registry

The Pezim Clinic Colonoscopy Registry is a confidential online service for patients who have undergone gastrointestinal flexible endoscopy (flexible sigmoidoscopy/colonoscopy) at the Pezim Clinic. It is the first of its kind in North America. Information regarding date of procedure, examiner, indications, findings, pathology, technical comments and future follow-up requirements are provided online in this password-protected area of the site.

The aim of the Registry is to provide the means by which important information regarding your procedure can be made available to you and/or your medical care providers in order to assist in the optimum management of your health. The Registry can help reduce the need to duplicate tests for reasons of forgotten or unavailable reports, provide exact findings and technical alerts to patients' future physicians, and to remind patients of the appropriate schedule for follow-up care when that has been recommended.

Patients who wish to participate in the Colonoscopy Registry are provided with a Pezim Clinic card containing a Pezim Clinic ID and Password. The ID and Password are only available 'offline' from the Clinic office.
